A pair of cloisonné enamel vases with sparrows and wisteria almost certainly Attributed to Hayashi Kodenji (1831-1915)
Meiji period, late 19th century
the oviform vases have a double wall neck and foot and are decorated in various coloured enamels and thicknesses of gold and silver wire, with finches perched among trailing branches and wisteria, the exterior of the rim with stylised flower heads and copper mounts.
